News from Brian (W4PAJ):
Last Updated: March 26,
2003:
I received confirmation on
the meeting place for the
RACES meeting. It will be held at the Pearisburg Fire
Hall at 7pm this Thursday (27th). Although we have not
had a meeting for a while, I'm keeping the meeting time
to one hour.
Many thanks to Adam and Rusty (Fire Chief) for their
help!
I look forward to seeing
everyone there.
Very 73,
Brian
Today, the Giles County
government asked me to again accept
the appointment of Chief RACES Officer for Giles County. As
before, I accepted the appointment and have instituted Gerry
Clark (K4GWC) and Vic Lafon (W4VLL) as Deputy RACES Officers.
We currently have 12 RACES members in Giles with the new
Acting County Administrator, Chris McClarney, overseeing the
RACES organization.
In these uncertain times it is imperative
that we provide rock-solid
support for Giles County and its citizens. I know each of you are
dedicated to this end. Giles County is very fortunate to have such a
professional and experienced volunteer ecomm team.
In March we will have a
meeting to discuss the coming year and what
we can do to ensure ecomm is one less thing the Giles County government
has to worry over.
The meeting date, time, and
location will be forthcoming. Should
you have any questions, please contact me anytime.
Very Best Regards,
Brian (W4PAJ)
